A radio button is a button commonly used on online forms. They are the buttons that are in a group that you can only press one of. It’s sort of like a test question, where you can only have one answer. Radio buttons are typically circular in shape, as opposed to the square checkboxes.
.
Example of where to find radio buttons, and how their used, would be:
.
A Gender Question (ie Male or Female)
.
A feedback poll (ie Choose your satisfaction with our product from 1 – 10)
.
Anything that requires that a person only input one of the selections, and not be able to choose more than one would be a ideal place to use a radio button.
